Where does the money go?
When your guest contributes money towards your predetermined gift of fund, we charge their credit card, and the money is deposited into Birthdayfund.com Holding Account at our bank. The funds remains in our Holding Account until the gift or fund has been established. This is important because Birthdayfund.com wants to ensure that the money you contributed goes to the actual gift or fund that was established in the invitation. Then and only then do we transfer the funds.

What are the fees to set up a registry at Birthdayfund.com?
It is completely FREE to create, view and contribute to a gift registry. To cover the costs involved including website hosting, sending emails, processing etc. Birthdayfund.com assesses a modest handling fee to complete all Gift Fund transactions. Birthdayfund.com will charge a handling fee of 10% of the total money that is collected in a registry. This money will be deducted at the time of disbursement.
Are there fees for my guests when they contribute funds to my registry?
It is completely free for guests to view and contribute money to your registry.

The process is incredibly simple! Just click the "Create Registry" button and then fill out the information of your party or event.
Step 1. Decide on Registry

How do I tell my friends and family that I have a registry at Birthdayfund.com?
Birthdayfund.com has made it easy to get the word out about you gift registry. We offer a couple of different options:

We allow all registries to create a basic webpage that allows you to inform your friends and family about your registry with Birthdayfund.com. We offer two types of website's basic which is FREE and Premium, which cost $99 for 12 months.
Email your guests
When you create a gift registry you will be given the opportunity either import an email list or manually enter email addresses. When you send out the email invitation, it is also an opportunity to invite the guests to view your webpage.
Can I resend an invitation to people that I forgot?
Yes you can always resend your invitation to anyone. To do this all you will need to do is "Login". Once you login to you account you can simply click resend invitation. It will then prompt you to resend to all or enter new address. Enter the new email address then simply click send.
How do I withdraw the funds?
Once all the funds have been collected, Birthdayfund.com will send you a check for the total amount minus our handling fees to the address you created when you signed up.
How will I know who provided me the gifts?
When someone contributes money to your registry, we immediately send an e-mail confirmation to both you and the gift giver. Another way to see who has contributed to to you registry is to simple "Login" to you account and view details. In this section you can find a detailed list of everyone who has contributed to you registry and the amounts of their contribution.

The process is incredibly simple! Either click or type in the link that was provided to you in your invitation or if you do not know the link you can search for a registry by entering the name of the person who invited you.
1. Once you have a "registry link " from the host of the event, you can view the registry
2. Once you find a registry you can enter the amount you wish to contribute

Are the restrictions on the amount of money I can donate?
At Birthdayfund.com we provide gift givers and receivers an enormous amount of freedom, it is really up to you regarding how much you wish to contribute towards a gift registry, however there is a $10 minimum. There are no limitations on the number of transactions a guest can make.
How does the recipient of a gift know who the gift came from?
When you contribute money to registry, we immediately send an e-mail confirmation to both you and the host of the event.
Will other people be able to see the amount I contributed ?
We at Birthdayfund.com feel that that kind of information is private. At no time will another guest be able to view your contribution. The only thing another guest will see is the names of the people that have contributed to the registry. Only the host will have access to view a detailed list of the contributions.

We understand that this is a concern for people, the last thing you want to do is donate towards a child's college fund and find out that the money was used to buy dad some new shoes. At Birthdayfund.com we take every effort to ensure that your donation goes to the specific gift or fund. How we do this is quite simple. We create what real estate professional call an "escrow" this is where we hold all the funds in our account until the register ( the person who invited you) has established an account or gift. At that time we will send a check, cashiers check or money order made payable to the actually company that the particular fund or gift is for.
